What Would Jamie Wear: For Fall

Fall is back like it or not.  I tend to lean toward not liking it but right now it has been bearable, however, I can see signs of frost and quickly dropping temperatures right around the corner and I am NOT happy about it.  Naturally I started looking at my wardrobe on some of the cooler days we have had looking for a sweater, a long sleeve shirt...but nothing!  OK, I am exaggerating maybe a little but one day I will meet the closet monster that takes all of my clothes from previous seasons so I can raid his/her wardrobe.  Until then I will be shopping every season to beef up the areas that are lacking in certain areas.

Right now I am seriously missing some comfy sweaters...and boots (wait until Thursday for those, it will be a happy ending to your week).  This weather makes me want to put on sweats and curl up on my couch but since we cannot hide out on the sofa until spring comes we have to find stylish yet comfortable apparel that makes us feel good about braving the colder temps.

Here are some of my picks this season:

Piperlime Rachel Pally Chunky Wrap Sweater
Target Merona Cardigan (I think Shanna has this and it is beautiful on her, I may need to go and buy it):

Target Mossimo Ultrasoft Cowlneck sweater.  Target is really impressing me this fall and I love that they are so affordable!

You know me and stripes, I love em' so of course I foumd this lovely at Old Navy :)  Love the prices I am seeing!  Old Navy raglan boat-neck sweater:

I love these cardigans because you can double your winter wardrobe by wearing your summer tanks underneath, no need to put them away when you have warm, cozy cardigans to go on top.  Here is Old Navy's dolman cacoon cardigan:
So there you have it, a few perfect additions to help round out your wardrobe for the cooler months ahead.  I lean towards more nuetral tones for pretty much everything I wear, especially sweaters so you can wear them again and again with different tanks, pants and boots for a completely different look.

Do you have a hot item on your fall shopping list this year?

See you swoon,
